Microsoft Changes to Office 365 E1 and Business Premium Grants for Nonprofit clients.

Microsoft has announced significant changes to its grant offerings for nonprofit clients, specifically discontinuing the Office 365 E1 and Business Premium grants. These changes aim to streamline the grant portfolio and simplify the options available to nonprofit organizations.

When will changes be made to the nonprofit licenses

⚠️ Office 365 E1 and Business Premium grant licenses will expire on or after July 1, 2025. ⚠️

If renewal is before July 1, 2025, you are good until renewal date.

If renewal is after July 1, 2025, the licensing will expire on renewal.

Price Changes

Office 365 E1 Grant

Will now be either of the following depending upon how you pay.

– $3.00 on a month-to-month basis,

– $2.63 if annual commitment is billed monthly

– $30.00 per year or ($2.50) if annual/annual

Microsoft 365 Business Premium Grant

Will now be either of the following depending upon how you pay.

– $6.60 on a month-to-month basis

– $5.77 if an annual commitment is billed monthly

– $66.00 per year or ($5.50) if annual/annual

To support nonprofits during this transition, Microsoft continues to offer the following.

  1. Up to 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic
  2. Discounts up to 75 percent on many Microsoft 365 nonprofit offers, including Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Office 365 E1.
